I recorded this sound back in 2002. Recorded by turning on a machine used to dry carpet.

Big beat style 2 bar drum loop at 89 bpm.

Pop/hip hop/big beat style drum beat made in fl studio. 110 bpm wav 24bit.

Put together this small drumbeat using an app called musical sketch pad (from windows app store). Do what ever you want with it. Please give me comments in how it can be improved.

This would make a good big beat loop, if i had made it more bass-y. It's still pretty useable, if you bass boost or low pass filter it.

A loop made on guitar using pedal for changing time. That produces the weird sound behind the strict fast muted string hits.

Note: i have created a newer version which has better looping. It is called drum beat loop 2. 0. This is a drum beating. It is 12 seconds long but can be looped. It was createdusing ableton live (including plugins like acdgen, drumbrain, and polyrandom). The files were then combined and edited using audacity. Feel free to comment your opinions on this. Note: while this did loop just fine in my tests, some software don't handle the looping as well (like groove music pauses before repeating). If the looping doesn't work the first time, try using a different software. You can easily do this on a windows pc by right clicking on the file and pressing open with (i am sure there is also a way to do this on a macbook but i have never used one so i am not sure how you would do it). Enjoy!.

Lightning strike very close to our house - within 1/3 mile. The neighbors were out watching and you can hear their reaction. Recorded with sony pcm-m10 internal mics, sitting on porch roof. No editing other than fade-out.

Ben burtt style retro laser gun blast made from hitting a long fence wire. I left more of the tail resonance on this one. This recording is unprocessed so you can shape it yourself.

Multiple fireworks going off at different distances. This recording has background noise of a distant highway. I have another similar recording which is cleaner. With some clean-up it could probably be used as war ambience. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 linear pcm recorder. Cc0, so no hassle with giving credit. .

Mascletà (rythmical composition of firecrackers blasts typical of valencia) recorded at 1000m distance from a roof-top terrace. The firecrackers blasts create a war-like ambience, with the sounds of the city mixed with the distant shots. Recorded with head-worn binaural soundman okm microphones. Some distortion due to the wind.

These sounds is our version of a starship's engines running and then ultiple fazer blasts at the enemy in the twilightzone.
